Prince William and Kate: A Royal Match Made in Heaven
By Yasmin Boland of Moonology.com
This is one royal match made in heaven! These two – William, a Cancer, and Kate, a Capricorn – are proof that opposites can and do attract. But there is much more going on in their chart than just their Star signs.
For one thing, there are plenty of “karmic” Nodal connections in their compatibility charts, suggesting their destiny was always entwined.
When you and your partner have Nodal connections, there’s a sense that you’re truly meant for each other, despite the odds. If you believe in reincarnation, a Nodal connection can even suggest that you’ve been together in past lives. (Let’s hope two weren’t Henry VIII and one of his poor beheaded wives!)
Also, when you have Nodal connections, it’s hard to be apart, even when times are tough. That’s why when William and Kate split temporarily a few years back, astrologers were quick to predict that they were very likely to reunite.
On top of all that, they have Venus and Mars connections which are fantastic for couples in love – Venus is about romance and Mars is about sex – two essential ingredients for marriage, no matter who you are, prince or pauper! And their communication? That’s all good too. Her mind planet Mercury in Aquarius harmonizes very nicely with his in Gemini (two Air signs, which go nicely together).
All in all, these two are indeed a great match. And the fly in the ointment? The wedding date that they have chosen! Clearly they don’t have a court astrologer at Buckingham Palace these days…
The main issue with the stars on their wedding day is that the Moon is going to be Void of Course, which is not what you want on a marriage chart! What happens when the Moon is Void of Course is said to go no where. Oh dear!
However, the Void of Course Moon is also the ideal time to just “be.” Another way of looking at this would be that this marriage – for all its pomp and ceremony – is actually a very personal meeting of two loving hearts. Happening in the “suspended” time of the Void of Course Moon, it’s possible to interpret the VOC Moon as opening up the possibility for these two to transcend millions of people watching around the world and to connect very intimately and spiritually, as though they were the only two people in the world.
The only other major consideration is that both Prince William and Kate will be going through their Saturn Return in the first 12 months after they wed. Saturn Return is the cycle everyone goes through at around 29 years of age, and it can be a very tough time! We feel challenged, we need to assert ourselves, and we certainly don’t want to be bossed around by anyone, especially people in authority, such as Royal courtiers, parents, grandparents or our spouses!
They will have to be very patient with each other in the first year of their marriage as they both come to terms with what’s required of them, William as a husband and of course, Kate not just as a wife but also as a Royal.
To finish, let me just share this; there is an astrological theory that the English royal family will actually come to an end under William’s reign. This is because he was born under an eclipse cycle which started at the time that the Royal Family began, and will end in his lifetime. Perhaps they will start as a Royal couple but end their days as two commoners growing old together – hopefully blissfully happy! If so, you read it here – on WeddingCentral.com – first!
