Anita Cochran: Good Times



Anita Cochran was born into a family that enjoyed listening to country music. She started playing the guitar at an early age and later learned to play the banjo, mandolin and Dobro as well. [1] [2], local country musician, Anita's father often took her to country music festivals. [2] She later found work both in groups and as a solo act, [3] and was eventually hired to manage the Pearl recording studios, studios in Canton, Michigan. [1]
In 1997, after moving to Nashville, Tennessee, she was signed to Warner Bros. Records. Released in 1997, her debut album, Back to You was produced it as well. She co-wrote all but one of the album's songs and played several instruments on it. The album's lead single-offs, "I could love such a man," peaked at # 64, followed by # 69 "Dad, you see me." The third single, a duet with Steve Wariner on "What If I Said" reached the top of U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts in early 1998. [1] After this song the album was his fourth and final one will be "Can you be?" Also at # 69th Her second album, Anita, produced three singles which failed to reach Top 40
The first single from her third album, God created woman, Cochran entangled in Conway Twitty's vocals on songs from his earlier form a duet called "(I hear) the song Cheatin '. This song peaked at # 57, though the album was never released, and its title track failed to chart. [3]
In 2007, Cochran produced a country music singer Tammy Cochran is the album Where I Am. [4
