First Face: Milan Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Week - First Face Countdown | FashionTV - FTV
MILAN - Since Italy is home to one of the fashion capitals in the world and some of the best designers anywhere (Miuccia Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Donatella Versace just to name a few,) it makes sense that Milan Fashion Week would pay host to some of the best models in the world and the ones that represented the most brands and designers by opening their shows in Milan during the Spring/Summer 2012 season. That's why they're on FashionTV's First Face countdown list. New Zealand model Emily Baker is #10 on the countdown, dropping down from the #3 spot, but still making an impression at shows like Versus and Fendi. The #9 spot goes to Caterina Ravaglia from Italy. Could she be the next Bianca Balti? This season, Ravaglia walked in shows like Trussardi and Sportmax. Martinique model Sigrid Agren is the #8 First Face on our countdown, appearing in shows like D&G, Etro, and Versace. Polish model Anja Rubik is #7 on the countdown. She appeared in shows like Salvatore Ferragamo and Fendi. Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw is #6 on the First Face countdown, rising from the #10 spot last season. She appeared in shows like Roberto Cavalli and Versace. The #5 spot goes to American model Karlie Kloss, who opened the Blumarine show among others. She was also featured in Roberto Cavalli and D&G. Number 4 on the countdown is Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls, who opened shows for both Gianfranco Ferre and Gucci. She is currently the face of both Stella McCartney and Roberto Cavalli. The #3 spot on our First Face countdown goes to Estonian model Karmen Pedaru who opened the Roberto Cavalli show. FTV's second place winner on the First Face countdown goes to French model Aymeline Valade, who was #7 on the countdown last year and is now #2. She opened shows like No 21 and MaxMara. And the winner is...Dutch model Daphne Groeneveld. Groeneveld opened the much talked about Dsquared2 show and the Etro show but also appeared in Prada and Roberto Cavalli.Appearances: Emily Baker, Caterina Ravaglia, Sigrid Agren, Anja Rubik, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Karmen Pedaru, Aymeline Valade, Daphne Groeneveld
