"I'm gonna start crying if you guys..."
A teary-eyed Angelina Jolie makes a plea to the crowd that gave her a standing ovation during the closing ceremonies of the Sarajevo Film Festival on Saturday. With her hand over her heart, Angelina told the audience she was getting emotional and that she had predicted she wouldn't be able to hold it together.
"I told Brad in the car I was afraid I was going to cry, I'm really trying not to."
As seen in video posted by a fan on YouTube, Brad and Angelina arrived to much fanfare and they both happily held court on the red carpet.
Angelina was in a gorgeous coral Elie Saab gown to greet adoring fans that had lined up to get a glimpse of the famous couple. It was a nice splash of color compared to all the neutrals she normally goes with on an everyday basis.
Once inside, Angelina accepted the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo Award for her humanitarian efforts in the area. Bosnia is the setting of her upcoming directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey, which follows a couple during the Bosnian war.
Angelina filmed the movie back in October and November of last year. She started filming in Bosnia but after some protests, she moved production to Budapest, Hungary. Everything has since blown over, and the movie is set to come out in December.
The trip to the film festival was an adults-only affair, as Brad and Angelina left their six kids at home. Most recently, the family was spotted in London, where Brad is working on World War Z, but Saturday was all about Angelina.
