Mohombi + Aili @ Girls Award Summer Night - Tokyo Fashion News 78 - Japan 2011 | FashionTV - FTV

Here’s a stylish 19-year-old Japanese girl we met in Harajuku. She told us that her name is Shoujo-S (it’s a nickname that roughly translates as “Girl-S”). Shoujo-S works at Harajuku’s popular resale shop Kinji.

Her mostly-white outfit, along with her translucent cape/negligee and really light blonde hair, give Shoujo-S an almost ethereal look. She said that she got her school uniform-influenced sailor top and tulle skirt from Kinji. Her rocking horse shoes – worn with ruffle socks – are from Body Line. Accessories include a cute hair bow with a manga character pin attached to it, several other pins/buttons, and a parasol from Nice Claup. Her Raggedy Ann & Andy bag also came from Kinji.

This cute and well-accessorized Japanese girl is named Ainoeri. We met Ainoeri on the street in Harajuku, where she told us that she is a voice actress, an apprentice designer, and an idol.

Ainoeri’s mostly-white outfit includes a camisole dress from Southpaw under a lacy coat from The Virgin Mary, white tights, and shoes/slippers with hand lettering on them that appear to be the first two kanji of her name (Aino). She’s carrying dueling manga-illustrated bags, one by the designer Keisuke Kanda and the other featuring artwork from the 1980s magical girl anime Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel. Her other accessories include several Creamy Mami plush charms, an Anpanman charm, a large purple star, an iPod, and a bejeweled poodle necklace.

We photographed these two cute Japanese girls near Shibuya Station in Tokyo. They are both wearing outfits that came mostly from the Japanese brand Co&Lu with some items possibly from the related brand CoCoLuLu by Co&Lu. The outfits consist of a stadium jacket, colorful sweaters, t-shirts, belts, jeans, sneakers, jewelry, bags, and – on one girl – a cap.

Even more eye-catching than the girls’ fashion is their nail art. One of the two has nail art featuring Tony Tony Chopper from the Japanese manga One Piece. The other girl wears nail art with lots of cute decora items like cupcakes and tiny cute characters. If you look at the three pictures at the bottom of the article, you can see closeups of the nail art of both girls.
