For me it's very simple: no redesign, no bigger screen, no better battery = NO BUY! (can have 100 mpx camera, gold plated etc don't care at all!)

Bloomberg reports (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-03-14/microsoft-said-to-stop-releasing-new-zune-models-as-demand-ebbs.html) that Microsoft is canceling future development of its line of Zune hardware devices...
No, I'm pretty sure Apple canceled the Zune. :D

Again google ships nothing at all. Show me data indicating a single quarter where a major version of Android was shipped on 40 million compatible units and then you can start making iOS comparisons.
It's not me it's the dying man that makes the OS comparisons at every keynote. Well actually he only did when iOS was in a leading position...
The last Android vs. iOS comparison he made was something like: "We have 350k apps!". Well Android now has about 325k apps and grows by about 35k apps per month. I guess that comparison won't make it into his June keynote....

A quick Google search brought this up: http://www.tipb.com/2010/06/21/switching-android-iphone-4/
Moving over contacts, calendars, and email
Heres the good news: if youre using Android chances are youre using Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts for your personal information, and those all work really well on the iPhone. You can set them up either as an Exchange account (which uses Google Syncs ActiveSync license) to push everything straight from the mothership to your iPhone.
Since iOS 4 can handle multiple ActiveSync accounts, thats the way we recommend you go. Just tap the Settings icon on the Home Screen, tap Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, choose Exchange, and enter your credentials. Google even has a help page if youre not sure just what exactly to put where.
About the only things youll miss and we miss them too is a more Gmail-like mail app. iPhone Mail is a great IMAP client but Gmail does things their own way, with threads and labels and stars. Youll get threads, but the other two just arent there.
If it bothers you enough, you can load up gmail.com right in the Safari web browser. Google makes the best web apps in the business and they work great in Safari (which shares the same WebKit root as Googles own Chrome). Once youve logged in to Gmail, Safari will ask you to cache a few megs of mail on your iPhone HTML5 and SQLite power! and then youre good to go.
On the off chance you dont like ActiveSync you can hit the handy Gmail button instead in Mail Settings and go the IMAP route. If you dont even use Gmail, you can setup MobileMe (Apples expensive push service), Exchange, or pretty much any POP3 or IMAP service you have via the Other button.

Do you make money with that machine?
I use a 2009 MBP (17") and upgraded the RAM to 6GB (more will follow) and an SSD and it is quite a snappy machine in PS CS5 with 12MP RAW photos. An ix-core MBP will be faster in calculating effects, thus if you do a lot of effects work that take five seconds on your current MBP, they will take two to three seconds on a newer MBP.
lol no I don't make money on this system, seems like the better option is B. I've already got a 64gb SATIII SSD, would that be enough for PS5 as well as lightroom?

You selected the HDD, the ODD is below (see below screenshot for the red marked region).

Btw, why has your screenshot so many white in it?
You can screenshot a single window or dialog via CMD+SHIFT+4, then SPACEBAR, then clicking on the window/dialog.

ca.gizmodo.com and uk.gizmodo.com worked for me so I tried us.gizmodo.com and that worked too, so they haven't put the redirections on the subdomains yet.
I don't know if any website is actually worth this. Honestly, I'm feeling that if they don't want me to view their site, I don't want to view it either.

In bed,
Sadly.
I was unemployed (laid off) and turned on the TV to note all sorts of news programs. I kept flipping the channels thinking it was just some political propaganda I didn't care about, until I spotted the video of the first plane.
I woke up between the two of them, and out of disbelief, I grabbed a stack of new VHS tapes and started recording. I still have the tapes, and plan to digitize them some day.

OK, I'll bite. Why spend anything at all? Why not go down to the library and use their computers for free?
The homeless bum thinks you're crazy for spending $600 on a computer when you can get the same experience for free.
You think we Applites are crazy for spending $1,200 on a computer when you can get the same experience for $600.
I can do it in my house that's why. Minimum cost to do this IN MY HOUSE. Cost plays a major role in most people's decisions to buy things. Generally I've found that once you cross a threshold price, your computer has much less problems (read the reviews and stuff to make sure its still good).

If that's the start of the data, I have no idea what it represents. It's not a JFIF (JPEG File Interchange Format, aka JPEG file).

If that isn't the start of the data, then post the starting line of data.
How do you know it's JPEG data? If you told us where the data came from, we might have better suggestions.

Well, as I said before, this isn't iphone against consoles, this is iphone against other handhelds. We should be comparing games we'd expect to play on the handheld devices.
Of course console is going to be better. If we are talking about playing at home and not needing portability, of course the console is a better choice than any of the handhelds.
You're comparing apples to oranges here. You may not be interested in handheld gaming, but that is what is relevant to this discussion, not console gaming. The iphone and other hand helds really aren't competitors to consoles, they serve a different purpose really.
Well then in that light, when it comes to FPS or Platforming gaming, I'll stick to a dedicated handheld with buttons/joy stick. And based on the Engadget story I posted earlier, it seems a lot of other people will too. For a mind numbing good time, I whip out the old iphone for a game of Ball Roll DX

LG-Philips is the current provider of LCD panels for the ACDs. I found this press release on the LG-Philips corporate site:
To meet the growing need for high-quality LCD panels in the desktop monitor market for graphic design and video production uses, LG.Philips LCD has developed wider color gamut products, including the worlds largest monitor panel, measuring 30 inches diagonally, as well as a 26-inch model. Both panels boast superior color gamut of 117 percent.
Maybe a refresh isn't too far away. Personally, I think the design and size for the 30" will not change but the performance will see a boost.
