Who's going? Last year I pre ordered, showed up an hours early and was about #30 in the pre order line. It doesn't look like they're offering pre orders this year. I was thinking about getting there around lunch time.

What router do you have? Your router should have a configuration page where you can look and see what IPs it's giving out. Or just go into system preferences/network on your mac and look at your IP and the router IP address.
It's an apple extreme router. The router IP is the same as yours. 10.0.1.1. The private IP is 10.0.1.201 on the port mapping setup assistant.
Edit: I found the range and it was set at 1-200. So i set the starting range too 100 and used your setting for easyvpn for 180-185. Still no luck :(

I need a replacement power supply for my Mac G4 Quicksilver (part 614-0157) but all the prices I've seen are outrageous. I am in the process of converting an ATX power supply for use in the Mac but I discovered that I do not have a +25V line. Is there an adapter or alternative power supply that will give me 25V?
These are the specifications on the Mac PSU:
+250VS 4.5A
+250VL 2.5A

I just ripped a CD onto iTunes for the first time, and all the songs were imported as .mp3 files instead of .aac. Anyone know why this is occuring, and how I can fix it?

Got one ACD 23" already.
Planning to purchase another one in next two weeks.
I think they're brilliant displays.
Been working with them a lot,
and never had any problems with color accuracy towards digital printing jobs.
I work mostly with posters, covers and booklets.
Sometimes in CMYC but most RGB.
Of course an upgrade is always welcome,
so if they come out with a new 'line' next Tuesday,
I'd be happy to grab one with build in iSight and a few extra ports...

I think, none has jailbroken ipad 2 yet. Neither Comex, if he had done it, he wud already pushed it out before anyone could. That draws more respect!!

How much did they pay for that? To be fair, I don't recall if MS bought just VPC or all of Connectix, but it hardly matters!

The connectix deal wasn't a 'boondogle' at all - connectix had other products than VPC. MS Virtual Server is based on the code they got from connectix. The server virtualization market is absolutely huge compared to VPC's potential market. I'm sure to Microsoft, VPC was a drop in the bucket in terms of revenue, and if I were a shareholder, I'd be happy as hell that they dropped it.

So i got this iMac off eBay for just �2.15! It's a tangerine model with a 10 gig HD and 160 mb RAM, running 10.3.9. Actually came with Word for mac installed. Gonna get a usb dongle to get it on the web. My only complaint is that I can't sync my iPhone.

I think you should calibrate it straight away because otherwise your battery may get overcharged later, which can be quite harmful in terms of how long the battery will last in years. Remember that you can use your new toy during the entire process though, whether it's plugged in or not. :)

Everytime you start your Mac, there's a little spinning wheel. That's the fsck being done automatically for you.
Sometimes if you're having troubles with your Mac and you don't have access to other integrity utilities, you can try doing a manual fsck when booted in Single User Mode.

9.75% yeah basically 10. Ordering online I think you only pay 7.5% state sales tax (ABSURD) but if I tried to drive to a lower sales tax Apple store they might sell out. Oh well, I've saved enough to cover taxes anyways.

No water damage right?
I mean, I really doubt it is, it was in my pocket today when someone splashed water on me, but I doubt very much touched it if at all.
It's starting to get really weird, like the home button will work for a little bit and then voice control will randomly activate and then I'll lose control of the phone and it'll act like I'm screwing with the home button (the quick-start menu will pop up, it'll switch black-and-white mode, voice control, etc...)
Maybe it is water damage? I mean, the phone wasn't wet or anything, how would I know?

I to have done one but its for more of targeting potential customers and the kids I shoot if they get so many of their friends to like the page I give them a discount on their packages they choose.
